The Centre Métropolitain de Chirurgie is a Centre Hospitalier licenced by the MSSS since 1973.
- 3 operating rooms equipped for surgeries under general and spinal anaesthesia
- 17 beds are dedicated to private post-operative care
- private nurse to patient ratio not more than 1 to 3
It is a 100% private hospital which means that patients pay the full costs of their surgeries and the surgeons operating there (including Dr. Christou) receive their fees directly from the patient.
There is no burden to the public health care system and this hospital has the capacity to complement the public health care system by allieviating the extremely long wait for certain surgeries including bariatric surgery.
