Protein Shake Recipes

WHEY isolated protein shake
1 scoop of WHEY protein in 1 cup of water or 2% milk
24-28 gr of protein per scoop.

Glucerna or Ressource Diabetic
1 can (250 ml) : 15 gr of protein / can

High Protein Milk            Yield = 1 L (4 cups)
1 L skim or 1% milk
1 cup Instant skim milk powder
Mix and chill.
This milk may be used in cooking

Egg Nog                Yield = 2/3 cup
60 ml pasteurized egg whites
30 ml 2% milk
125ml high protein milk
Vanilla to taste
Nutmeg to taste
5 ml Splenda

Beat egg whites
Add milk, cream and Splenda
Mix well
Add flavouring
Mix and chill thoroughly before using

Variations:
Chocolate:  Add 15 ml instant cocoa powder and 2 ml vanilla
Banana: Mash a banana until very smooth, add to egg whites mixture with 2 ml vanilla
Maple: Add 15 ml sugar free maple syrup

Milkshake                Yield 1 cup

125 ml sugar free ice cream or sugar free frozen yogurt
125 ml high protein milk
5 ml cocoa

Mix all ingredients together until belnded

Fruit Milkshake            Yield 2 cups

125 ml high protein milk
175 ml sugar free ice cream or sugar free frozen yogurt
125 ml frozen or fresh berries
Mix all ingredients together until blended
