Do I need to see a Psychologist?
The current standard of care dictates that all patients who are contemplating weight loss surgery must undergo psychological evaluation before their surgery. We will arrange for a pre-surgical consultation with an experienced clinical psychologist who has had extensive clinical experience in evaluating and treating patients with binge eating or compulsive eating disorders.

What happens in the hospital
Depending on your BMI and comorbidity, plus the option you have chosen, you will be directed by our office to the appropriate hospital, including the date and time. It is imperative that you follow these instructions precisely especially the time. You should not eat or drink anything after midnight the night before your operation.
